I started out doing websites around November 1999 when
buying a "How to learn HTML" guide wherein included was a webdesign
program - FrontPage. I was excited and I so wanted to learn how to build
a website, so I started out as an amateur, not knowing what frames were
(I love frames!) and I built my first site. It was called "The Buffy
the Vampire Slayer Lurky Lounge" and was a general BtVS site. I made
it solely with tables and underclass graphics. I always had Photo Plus
4 installed on my PC, it was included within the pc and I made and still
make all my graphics with it. Then I made a second Buffy the Vampire Slayer
site called "The Slayer Files" - it was similar to the previous
one and so I decided to close the other site because I liked TSF more.
After a while I made a self-instruction course on how to build and handle
frames and from that point I was excited. I built "Slayer's Empire"
after a time. It was a red design I remember and it was up very very long.
Because of this cool Fanlistings idea I built a headquarters site "The
Fanlistings" where people can sign up for their own fanlistings. A simple
design made only with Photo Plus 4 and pepped up with Corel Photo Paint 8.
But fortunately I got better and better. I designed and maintained "Charming
Empire" for a while. But at this point it was too much work for me. I
had a tough year 2000. So I gave the site away.
Finally I met a nice guy online and now a good friend of mine - Jim. He helped
me out by sending me Paint Shop Pro (the coolest graphics program out there)
for nothing. You can imagine that I had to redesign all my sites with great
new layouts and graphics. I do the basic graphics with Photo Plus 4 and I
pep 'em up with Paint Shop Pro and it works. I think I'm pretty good at it.

NineToZero.com domain was purchased at puretec.de on June 6th 2001 and moved
to hostonce.com on January 24th 2002 to become NineToZero.org.
As of April 7th 2002 the end came to the domain ninetozero.com because some
silly doofus registered it before I could re-register, the same went for thefanlistings.com.
The domains now point to some search engine and a web company that has nothing
to do with the term fanlisting. I was so outraged cuz after months of waiting
for my domains to be transferred to HostOnce which didn't happen I thought
when they got deleted that I could re-register them but it proved that I was
too late. So on April 9th ninetozero.org and thefanlistings.net were born
and registered at HostOnce.
On October 18th 2002 there came an end to Nine to Zero as HostOnce accused
me having illegal files stored at my site which I knew that was impossible.
So they deleted the site in an instant.
As I didn't want to register ninetozero.net since I kinda thought that name
was doomed I registered at activewebhosting.com the domain seraphic-devil.org
on October 19th 2002. I chose this domain because my blog was named "Seraphic
Devil" and as I explained there this term fits me very well. Only few people
get to really know me, the true me. :) Deep inside I'm kind of a rebel who wants
to break free from the outside.
On September 29th 2004 I opened up Black-Inside.org as my new blog and site
collective. I just needed to have php and MySQL and all that kind of stuff,
so I had to register a new domain name and webspace so that we are now hosted
at SurpassHosting.com. Black Inside seemed like a perfect fit, my favorite color
is black and referring to Seraphic Devil, I can be a rebel of sorts, so I'm
a rebel inside who wants to break free, I'm black inside! :)
It seems I have become fansite obsessed in 2004, I maintain sooo many now and
pretty much all of them are really successfull which makes me really proud.
